Since the Center hired its first staff member in 2017, it has rapidly grown from a small single service nonprofit to one of Connecticut’s leading LGBTQ+ institutions. With its innovative arts and culture programming, youth empowerment initiatives, and a vast array of social services and case management support, the Center is a vital resource and fierce advocate for the LGBTQ+ community of Connecticut.
Your contribution is a direct investment in the LGBTQ+ community of Connecticut. The Center puts your money to work through high-impact programming and services that fall within one or more of our five areas of focus:
- creating a safe space for case management and support services;
- bringing people together for shared social experiences;
- educational activities, awareness building, and youth empowerment;
- arts, culture and humanities programming; and
- advocacy for the community.
Ways to Give
Sponsor one of our upcoming events, make a one-time donation through any of our virtual platforms including Venmo (@newhavenpridecenter) and CashApp ($newhavenpridecenter), or join our sustaining donor club with a monthly donation of $5 or more and ensure the Center has reliable income to feed the community, pay speaker fees, hire LGBTQ+ artists, employ and empower LGBTQ+ youth, and fund all of the programs and leadership you have come to expect!
