Queer Art: Restrospectively

October 25 – November 14, 2021
Great Room Gallery, New Haven

November 17 – December 31, 2021
The Chez Est Gallery, Hartford

Queer Art: Retrospectively celebrates five years of art exhibits at the New Haven Pride Center. It features the art of 27 different LGBTQ+ artists from across Connecticut, all of whom have been showcased in the Center’s Great Room Gallery and/or the Chez Est Community Gallery. Since the launch of the Great Room Gallery space in December 2017, the Pride Center has produced 36 exhibitions featuring more than 60 Connecticut-based LGBTQ+ artists. This exhibition celebrates that journey with a combination of retrospective pieces from past exhibitions as well as new works by some of our favorite artists.
