The New Haven Pride Center maintains a FREE food pantry accessible during our regular drop-in hours. We carry pantry staples, including beans, pasta, tomato sauce, oatmeal, canned tuna and chicken, peanut butter, snacks and more! If you have dietary restrictions, you are welcome to request additional items through our Case Management office!

Community Closet

The New Haven Pride Center also maintains a FREE clothing closet for individuals of all gender identities and sizes. Whether you’re in need of seasonal clothing, clothing for a job interview, a special occasion, or just want a safe space to try on gender-affirming clothes, the community closet is designed just for you! The community closet also includes a limited stock of shoes, and gender-affirming garments such as binders, make-up and wigs!

The Center accepts gently used clothing items throughout the year. Due to limited capacity, the Center only accepts seasonally appropriate clothing. Register to host a Clothing Drive for NHPC below
